Privacy policy
Short version: we collect as little as possible, and we never see your water test results unless you email them to us.
What we collect
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and which links are clicked. It records things like page path, approximate location, device type and referring site. We do not use it to identify individuals.
Email addresses you give us. If you submit the shopping list form, your email address goes to a Google Form so we can send the list and, occasionally, tell you when something relevant is published. If you use the contact or partner form, your message is delivered by FormSubmit to [email protected].
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your address, your phone number, or your water test results. Nothing on this site asks you to upload a laboratory report. The calculators run entirely in your browser: the numbers you type into them are never sent anywhere and we never see them.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies. Amazon sets cookies when you follow an affiliate link, which is how a purchase is attributed to this site. You can block cookies in your browser; the site works without them and the calculators are unaffected.

Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to delete your email address at any time by contacting us, and we will.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date at the bottom of this page changes with it.
